Devraha bada cannot only be defined as saint rather i should give him the tag of GOD, who could control earth, water,fire...I need not to define his aura n personality as it is beyond my words..though he left his body in 1991 but gave the responsibility to Dev Dasji Maharaj and Ram Sevak Maharaj..popularly known as bade maharaj ji and chote maharaj ji..
Both of them have the divine powers to luk after their devotees..Bade maharaj ji whos auro illuminates the area around him..everyone around him can feel hi presence..his one smile is a reflection ofhis kindness and ashirvad to ppl..A true saint who only knws to give and help people is pure soul close to God.

why dev das not living in india, i think he cheating people if he is real person why do not he give his information to people? why he cheating russians and europions? please complaint about him interpol .

First go & see him . Try to know him , try to judge him with your little perception & then ask yourself whether he is a cheater or not . Every man is bound to get the results of karma . He while giving deeksha takes our bad karma , so also the bad result . It is our sin for which he is suffering & still he is not blaming anyone . Remember one thing , cheaters dont have followers , but he has so many followers who can sacrifice their lives for their guruji .

A Delhi Court today dismissed the anticipatory bail plea filed by a sadhu and alleged kingpin in a case wherein a property dealer was cheated of Rs 1.5 crore on the pretext of selling him a precious Nagmani, a stone believed to have divine powers.

Additional Sessions Judge R. P. S. Teji denied any relief to Baba Dev Dass, who had fled to Germany after two of his associates were arrested in the Capital last month. The court had granted anticipatory bail to Yogesh Mittal, one of his five key accomplices, yesterday.

According to the prosecution, the baba had allegedly hatched a conspiracy with a group of conmen, including two top officials of the Narcotic Control Bureau, to cheat Harbans Lal of Rs 1.5 crore which he had already paid for buying the stone.

Just when he was receiving the stone at Kolkata, two days after the payment, an NCB team led by Superintendent of Police G Chatterjee and Inspector Rajesh Vashisth, who were allegedly acting in collusion with the accused, carried out a fake raid in Harbans Lal’s hotel room and ‘recovered’ the stone.

Complainant’s counsel A. K. Aggarwal had earlier challenged the bail application of the baba on the ground that his arrest and interrogation was essential to unravel the conspiracy behind the organised crime carried out in collusion with senior police

I just don't know why I am writing to you. But I know only this that I have been remembering Devraha Babaji since around a month or so.
I remember reading an article about Baba ji in the Illustrated Weekly somewhere in the mid 1980's or so when I was in my early 20's.
I remember a reference in the article where it mentions Him to be a Brahamarishi. Is this description right? Anyways, it does not matter much as that is not the cause of my communication to you.
The fact is that all these years I have never read, remembered or known anyone who is faintly aware of Baba ji's name.
I feel that I had some instant connect with Baba ji from reading that article in the mid 1980's & I recollect that I had an urge to meet Him then, but I don't know for what . . Neither did HE ever come to my mind all these years but till a month or so ago.
This was when, in a casual conversation with some close friends over dinner in a restaurant, I made a sudden reference to Baba ji out of the blue over his longevity of 500 yrs + which I recollected from that article of 1980's!
I could not recollect Baba ji's name just then, so my friend Vaibhav scoffed at my reference & contested this saying it is impossible & against science.
We left for home immediately thereafter post dinner.
As soon as I reached home just from thin air Baba ji's name surfaced in my mind. It was well past 12 mid night then & Vaibhav was on his way to Thane wher he stays. I live in Chembur, Mumbai. I sms'd him Baba Ji's name & in some time he sms'd me in return after Google'ing on his i Pad that indeed Baba's name crops up in search result where it says he is rumored to have lived 750 yrs!
Ever since this conversation with Vaibhav, Baba's name keeps cropping in my mind. I dont know why.
So I too Google'd today to know a little about Baba ji's history & I stumbled upon your beautiful site. Many thanks for creating it where I could quench some of my thirst & gain valuable insight on Baba ji's history.

i meet guruji dev das and chota maharaj ramsevak das ..at the kumba mela of allahabad on 96.
i spend milagroso time in the ashram in vrindavan..at this time just the main mandir was buld...india miss me a lot.
